It's time for this to stop

Not only is the First Minister leading the People of Scotland on a course to nowhere, she must know she's doing it.

It's not even complicated. It's very simple. There is no need to have the multitude and magnitude of extended arguments. The fundamental and most basic of facts can clearly demonstrate that Independence for Scotland can never be anything other than an emotional fantasy.

Today, (02 September 2020,) the First Minister said in Holyrood, "I believe in Democracy." Presumably this will be the same democracy which took place on 18 September 2014, when the People of Scotland voted "Democratically," for their country to remain as part of the United Kingdom.

The First Minister insists on pushing this to the forefront with a childlike logic, telling us that "Scotland would be better off in the EU," when all of the arguments have already been had.

All of this, even before the true economic impact of Covid-19 has been quantified, the First Minister wants to break ties with the UK, and join the EU. This is her vision for Independence.

There is a huge clue here. European Union. That "Union," word again. That word which is exactly the opposite from the "Independence," she is promising everyone.
