Eric Joyce, former Labour MP and ex-Army Officer on Twitter only days after receiving a suspended Prison Sentence for Child Sex Offences
Eric Joyce had a 51-second film on a device that showed "the sexual abuse of very young children", Ipswich Crown Court heard.
The former shadow minister and ex-MP for Falkirk was arrested in 2018.
Joyce, 59, of Worlingworth, Suffolk, was sentenced to eight months in prison suspended for two years, and must complete 150 hours of unpaid work.
The court heard the category A film - the most serious there is - was accessed by Joyce between August 2013 and November 2018.
It featured what appeared to be seven different children, aged between 12 months and seven years.

10 days later on Twitter with the Bio Line:
"I tweet about Education and Genetics, Scotland and interesting things in my Twitter stream"
Joyce, apparently oblivious to any sense of shame, or reality, fires up his Twitter account on August 19 and posts a Tweet to his almost 16k followers, in response to an item regarding German Chancellor, Angela Merkel, stating;

"Germany has no opposition parties and Merkel's in her fourth consecutive term."
Writer and Broadcaster, Sonia Poulton, who is a leading voice in matters of Child Abuse, picked up on the Tweet and clearly amazed by the stunning arrogance of the man, Ms Poulton Tweeted;

"I can't believe former MP Eric Joyce is back tweeting about world affairs like he wasn't just convicted of having a video that features the rape of babies to 7-year-olds. A pathetic suspended sentence allows him to carry on as normal, unlike the children abused for his pleasure."
